The Camp Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals campers and staff.  Prepare meals for special diets, ordering food and cleaning/organizing kitchen and appliances.  This includes planning menus, ordering supplies,  while managing kitchen sanitation and safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and cook complete meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, including preparing special meals for dietary needs.
• Develop menus, estimate food requirements, and manage kitchen inventory to stay within budget.
• Ensure all kitchen operations meet health and safety standards, including proper food storage and cleaning of equipment.
• Maintain a clean work area, supervise kitchen assistants, and organize food supplies.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

• 1 – 2 years of cooking experience (camp, restaurant or cafeteria settings).
• Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and sanitation procedures.
• Food safety handling certification.
• Ability to manage inventory and budget.
